The Daystar Digital system comes complete with the Daystar reflector, Lumatek dimmable digital ballast and a standard HPS bulb. Reflector: The Daystar has evolved from our high performance GLX commercial greenhouse reflector. The greenhouse challenge is to offer not only the most uniform lighting pattern for crops, but also the most efficient lighting systems possible so that the crop can get to market at the lowest possible production cost. There is no room for poor performance in any way. The Daystar uses the highest purity and efficiency European aluminum and was designed by the finest reflector engineers in the country. Its combination of uniformity and efficiency is unsurped in our industry. The Daystar reflector measures 7-3/8 inches high x 12-1/2 inches wide x 18-1/2 inches long. It is fully air coolable with the optional flange kit and safety lens. This reflector comes with a 25 year warranty. Ballast: The Lumatek offers an updated version with the dimmable and dialable feature plus a super lumens switch. The dimmable and dialable feature allows the user to dim a set wattage bulb back or dial the knob to desired wattage and match with a corresponding wattage bulb. The super lumens switch pushes up to 30 percent more lumens out of the maximum rated wattage bulb. The ballast is dual voltage 120 to 240 volts pre-wired and capable of firing MH or HPS bulbs. Lumateks generator ready. This ballast comes with a 5 year warranty. Dimmable and dialable feature is specific to individual wattage ballasts: 1000 watt offers settings at 1000, 750, 600 watts and super lumens; 600 watt offers settings at 600, 400 and 360 watts; 400 watt offers settings at 400, 250 watts super lumens, and 250 watt standard; 250 watt offers settings at 250, 175 and 150 watts. Our kit contains pH Up, pH Down and pH Test Indicator.
