Modern technology meets old-world necessity in this stylish Fanimation 15.5 in. Fitzgerald Fan. The front design of the Fitzgerald model comes with a leaf-shaped cage that conjures visual imagery of the first types of fans known to man -- the actual use of flowers and other foliage in an attempt to cool off. Behind that cage lies modern day refreshment: a 110-volt motor powering three blades that operate at three forward speeds. The Fitzgerald also comes with a 4-position rotary switch and an oscillating feature, plus rubber feet for sturdy positioning on a desk or table (although the fan can also be mounted on the wall. The fan is rated for dry locations only but comes with a manufacturer's limited lifetime motor warranty.
